Our Vision

We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments are inspired by God and declare His plan, purpose and design for mankind.

We believe there is only one true God who is revealed in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. But though the grace and mercy of God, man’s sin is atoned for through Christ.

We believe every person can have restored fellowship with God the Father through salvation by accepting Jesus Christ’s offer of forgiveness for his or her sins.

We Believe in Water Baptism by immersion after repenting of one’s sins and receiving Christ’s gift of salvation and Holy Communion as a symbolic remembrance of Christ’s suffering and death for our salvation.

We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a special experience available to every believer that empowers us just as it did in New Testament times.

Our History

Victorious Living Church of God

In 1993 God revealed a portion of his vision to our pastor, Dr. David S. Blair; however, it was not until February 1997 that God called destiny to come forth and VLCG was incorporated and our journey began.

It was during the early years at Fern wood Park District that the church realized God’s favor was heavy upon the ministry and we embraced the theme “Where Trials meet Triumph.” For we saw God’s Provision, His Presence and His Power demonstrated in abundance over and over again as we the Victorious Living Church of God soared through opposition.

November 1999, VLCG moved into its new church home. The next few months were filled with major renovations, however it was well worth it as we increased the value of the property by 300%. By August 2003 the Honorable Bishop Arthur M. Brazier presided over the mortgage burning celebration of the church.

The Move to South Holland

In 2007, Dr. Blair declared the time had come for us to take our ministry to the next level. He believed God was preparing us to reach the masses with the message of Jesus Christ. It was time to move from Vision to Victory. The faithful members of VLCG understood that it was time to pack up for God is about to move us to greater victories once more. We prayed, fasted and waited on God to show us where we would be going;

In February 2008 pastor announced the plan of God for Victorious Living Church of God. Again we prayed. God confirmed his will and we stood by while God caused every hurdle to bow down at his will.

We invite you to come out and worship God with us in our state of the art facility. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and the Spirit of the Lord permeates every service. You will be glad that you did.
